🌟 FFA State Convention Results! 🌟
Our FFA students rocked the Washington State Convention from May 8-12th! 🎉 Competing in various events like Public Speaking, Veterinary Science, and more, they showcased their skills and dedication.
Special shoutout to Gabriela Salazar for placing 6th overall in the state in Spanish Creed Speaking and our MS Food Products and Processing team for snagging 7th place overall in the state! 🏆 This team consisted of Grishma Mahatara, Ryder Aguilar, Miah Bucio, Marco Heredia, and Sophia Hernandez. Grishma Mahatara placed 9th with her individual score out of roughly 94 other students. These students got to walk across stage in front of roughly 2,000 people to accept their plaques. Let's celebrate their hard work! 🎉 #FFA #StateConvention #ProudOfOurStudents 🌟

Superintendent, Mr. Sattler shared his unique hobby with the 3rd-grade classrooms today! 🐝 Not only is he a top-notch Superintendent, but he's also been a beekeeper for nearly a decade! 🍯 Today, he dove into the amazing world of bees, chatting about their life cycle, the queen bee, bee houses, honey production, and how he harvests it when it's ready. The kids were bursting with questions! 😃 To top it all off, they got to make toast with honey straight from Mr. Sattler's bees! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise, Mr. Sattler! #BeeKeeper

The Multilingual Language Learners (MLL) recently completed their United States Report Projects. Each student chose a state . They did research on their state and then completed a 2 page report and 5 fact cards on their state. Ms. Negrete and I , laminated their work and attached the fact cards with string to their state capital on the wall map. The wall map was the item chosen for our classroom, using the STCU classroom grant money awarded to our classroom.
Congratulations to our 8th grade Math is Cool team for earning 1st Place in our division at the Master's Competition (state-level) last Saturday in Moses Lake!

Happy principal appreciation day!! Our Middle School showing appreciation for Mr. Luttrell. They posted notes and posters all over his office and was also celebrated with tacos and a goodie basket.
